Message from Graduates batch (2014 - 2022)
We all have started the journey in 1st std 2014 and continue till 9th and 10th grade. We felt like sharing our thoughts with the world so that many young minds and parents will get an insight to what makes us to be with Evolvingminds.
The unique way of learning at Evolvingminds
The hands-on learning aspect of Evolving Minds is something you won’t find anywhere else. The learning experience is completely different from the stereotypical “School” experience as it is fueled by the mentees’ curiosity. Evolving Minds is a learning centre where the input of the child is given more importance than that of the teacher and the path isn’t planned but made as we take each step together.
The session begins with a Thought-Provoking Question which allows the student to dig deeper and begin the process of learning. The answers provided help to find the level at which each student is. Each student is appreciated and their capacity and learning are taken into consideration before designing the material. The classes are spontaneous and more fluid so each student has the freedom to explore and go with the flow of ideas. There are no bounds and mistakes aren’t scrutinised but developed into working models.
The Teaching (Teaching = understanding)
Learning topics isn't narrowed to just the concepts but to a vast world related to the topic. We not only learn the science that is in our school textbooks, but also the science of life.
Making connections and real-life applications based on our understanding in class is important for us to learn and Evolving Minds helps us with that.
We get to discover our passion and are mentored to follow what we love.
The Development (Child to Learner to Individual)
Alongside learning science, you also learn about developing as a person in general, with philosophical thinking and finding your view of life. A true all-around development takes place with learning important skills such as being able to communicate your thoughts effectively, learning to work as a team, and materialising your thoughts and creativity, all while being guided by the expertise of our mentor, Anand.
The Connections (Peers to Friends)
Interactions with your peers here are also really exciting, as everyone shares that same awe and admiration for the things being learnt. This encourages the person to be more themselves as they have found common ground with everyone in that room. The conversations and learning here are pure gold, as we learn through the interactions. Each child in the room shares the same passion and encourages others to try their best. There is no bias and no divisions. When under the roof of EvolvingMinds, we are learners, thinkers and young scientists in the making.
Our Perspective through the lens of science
Evolving. It means to develop gradually. That is exactly what we do here at EvolvingMinds. We develop, we grow, we become individuals and most importantly, we become ourselves.
